Mandy Perry – Nutrition, Catering & Housekeeping Assistant

Before joining Sandville Self Help Foundation I spent 10 years working in the catering industry, delivering services within the public sector. I initially joined Sandville Self Help Foundation as a volunteer, and the passion I felt for its mission inspired me to apply for a permanent role.

In my current position, I’m responsible for supporting nutrition, catering, and housekeeping services, a role funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. I play a key role in making sure the clients in our care enjoy well-balanced meals that are thoughtfully prepared to meet their individual dietary requirements. My work ranges from planning menus and preparing food to upholding rigorous hygiene and cleanliness standards. I collaborate closely with colleagues to foster a safe, supportive, and nourishing setting for everyone.

This role is incredibly rewarding, and I take immense satisfaction in helping to enhance the wellbeing of others. I’m proud to be part of Sandville Self Help Foundation that places compassion, dignity, and care at the core of its mission. It has become more than just a job; it truly feels like family.
